Relief Box Challenge

Orca Deco Ghana donated 7,000 boxes of food items to the people of Ghana and distributed them through the Rebecca Foundation. This humble donation was made to support the Foundation in making life better for the poor and underprivileged in Ghana.

The donation was used as a catalyst for a much larger campaign and drive to do good. Orca and The First Lady challenged other retailers to donate what they can toward helping those in need during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The timing could not have been more opportune with the #Challenge trend that was circulating globally to encourage more retail businesses like Orca, to donate what they can in aid of those in need.

The First Lady announced the 7,000 Boxes Challenge which we started, challenging other retailers like Shoprite, Palace, Game to do the same, and to top it!

The campaign did not only draw the attention of large retail stores to respond with large donations, but it also showed their unwavering support to the people of Ghana, who regularly shop with them. The challenge provided a brilliant platform for these household brands to shine in the eyes of their customers when they were needed the most.

The 7,000 Boxes Challenge initiative evoked a sense of positivity and hope during the time of difficulty. We are proud to say that, Orca Deco Ghana made the first donation and along with The First Lady to save a lot of people during this COVID-19 epidemic.
